No. Reduced fermentable-carbohydrate exposure may help, but plaque control, fluoride, saliva, existing lesions and actual food choices remain important.

Do not confuse nutritional ketosis with diabetic ketoacidosis. Concerning symptoms in a patient with diabetes need urgent medical assessment.
