The 26th annual UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition – AEEDC Dubai brings together around 66,000 participants and 3500 exhibitors from 155 countries in which around 4800 unique dental innovations were on display. H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, inaugurated the 26th edition of AEEDC Dubai.

This largest Annual Scientific Dental Conference and Exhibition in the World were held in Dubai World Trade Center, UAE from 01-03 February 2022. Being a global platform for the dental world. AEEDC Dubai attracted dentistry experts and industry professionals from all around the globe.

Scientific activities:
1. AEEDC Student Competition Healthy competition is a great platform to exchange ideas, materialize visions and expand the horizons of knowledge. AEEDC 2022 witnessed the 13th edition of the Student Competition. Apart from improving the intellectual abilities of dental students, it also intended to offer them incentives for self-improvement. In this inter-university competition, each university participated with a team of 5 students who actively interacted with their counterparts from other universities and colleges. The main objective of the competition was to develop an exciting environment for the exchange of knowledge and shape the future generation of dentists for upcoming challenges. This year a total of 18 universities participated in the competition which was conducted physically through a game-based platform. The competition was composed of four main rounds: Elimination A and B, Semi-Final, and Final rounds. Questions were given in the form of multiple-choice (MCQs) and questions asked were either related to AEEDC Conference Lectures or to Clinical Dentistry. Although all the participants were presented with the certificate of participation, the winning team received free registration for AEEDC 2023 along with 2,000 AED cash money per participant. The 2nd and 3rd place winners received 1,000 and 500 AED cash money per participant. 2. Poster Presentation A wonderful and competitive presentation by dental students and graduates was displayed during AEEDC Dubai.
