Archana Karunakaran, a trained dentist, has seamlessly integrated her passion for art with her dental profession. Inspired by her visits to her mother's village in Pollachi, Archana's artwork reflects her deep connection with anatomy and human forms.

Despite a demanding schedule, including work as a periodontist and running her clinic, she dedicates three to four hours every morning to painting. Her recent exhibition at CPR Art Centre in Chennai showcases a diverse collection of artwork created primarily after 2022. The lockdown period provided her with the opportunity to experiment with different media, further enhancing her artistic skills. Archana's artwork is characterized by bold strokes, vibrant colors, and a deep exploration of human emotions. Inspired by her surroundings and cultural heritage, she meticulously portrays everyday scenes and traditional subjects with a contemporary twist.
