In the light of WHO declaring COVID-19 virus to be a pandemic Indian Dental Association (IDA) recommends preventative measures for dental professionals. Interpretation should consider design, recruitment, comparator, bias, confounding, effect size, uncertainty and follow-up before changing patient care.
