Diamond Blade — 301 Compatible — Sintered Blade
What This Product Is
A sintered diamond wafering blade sized to fit 301-type precision saws. Sintered (metal-bond) blades have diamond distributed through the bond, so the edge renews as it wears — an excellent choice for cutting hard materials cleanly and consistently over a long blade life.
Intended Use in Metallography and Petrography
Used for precision sectioning of hard materials on 301-compatible saws, where a clean cut and minimal damage matter. Selected when:
- Cutting hard materials such as agate, petrified wood, jade, and similar
- A 301-type saw is the equipment
- A durable sintered blade is preferred for hard, abrasive work
Typical Applications
- Hard minerals and stone (agate, petrified wood, jade)
- Ceramics and hard composites
- Hard metallographic specimens
When This Product Is NOT Ideal
- For soft or ductile materials better cut by a plated blade
- When your saw takes a 303-compatible or plated blade — see those products
