HoEtch is a 37% phosphoric acid etching gel for use on dentin and enamel. It provides an excellent prepared dental surface for accepting resin. HoEtch roughens the surface, increases retention of resin sealant, and promotes mechanical retention for:
- Composite restorations
- Inlays
- Crowns
- Bridges
- Veneers
- Root canal posts
- Splints
- Orthodontic brackets
- Pit and fissure sealing
Our gel is formulated as a pre-treatment agent to help create a strong bonding surface between resin material and the tooth's natural surface. HoEtch's 37% phosphoric acid etch gel effectively removes the smear layer, which aids in successful bonding.
Physical properties:
HoEtch gel has an optimal viscosity, so it remains in place--even on vertical surfaces. It is pigmented blue, to help you apply it exactly where it needs to go. Leave the gel on the tooth's surface for about 15 to 30 seconds, then rinse completely clean with water, for a smooth enamel surface with a matte-white appearance.
Application times:
- Enamel: approximately 20-30 seconds
- Dentin: maximum 15 seconds
Our 5cc syringe offers an ergonomic advantage
HoEtch 37% phosphoric acid etch gel comes pre-loaded in 5cc syringes. The 5cc size makes our syringe easier to handle than smaller 1-2cc syringes, and, therefore, more ergonomic, which aids in the precise application of the gel.
