Indonesia Dental Exhibition & Conference (IDEC) 2023 is scheduled to take place from September 15-17, 2023 at the Jakarta Convention Centre. The event, jointly organized by the Indonesian Dental Association, PT. Traya Eksibisi Internasional (Traya Indonesia), and Koelnmesse, aims to strengthen the dentistry industry ecosystem and contribute to the national health transformation process. Covering an area of 6,000 square meters, IDEC 2023 will feature 250 exhibitors representing various sectors of the dental industry, including dental practices, dental laboratories, infection control and maintenance, dental services, and information and communication organizations. Additionally, there will be 20 international groups pavilions. The exhibition will offer over 18 seminars conducted by more than 20 speakers throughout the three days. Online registration for visitors is free of charge, while those registering on-site during the event will be charged IDR 50,000 (US$3.28). The Chairperson of the Indonesian Dentist Collegium and IDEC 2023 Organizer, drg. Diono Susilo, MPH, emphasized the importance of improving the scientific quality, knowledge, and skills of dentists to provide professional dental and oral health services. The event's theme, "The Transformation of Dental Health Resiliency," aims to contribute to the national health transformation process. IDEC 2023 is expected to attract at least 5,000 visitors, including professionals from the dentistry industry, dental suppliers, medical device manufacturers, medical personnel, and the general public. Mathias Kuepper, the Managing Director of Koelnmesse, expressed optimism about the event's success, highlighting the increased presence of international and local business communities and technological innovations focused on solutions. After being postponed in 2021, IDEC is returning as an in-person meeting, providing an opportunity for local and international visitors to explore dental products, services, and solutions from around the world. The event aims to serve as a platform for participants to acquire new skills and knowledge and future-proof their expertise.
