Today is World No Tobacco Day: #Tobacco use is a major cause of cardiovascular disease, including coronary heart disease, stroke and peripheral vascular disease. #NoTobacco ???? Karnataka Cancer Society is going to conduct a program on 31st May 2018 to mark “World No Tobacco Day” presiding by D. Surendra Kumar, Vice President, SDM Educational Society, Ujire in SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Anchepalya Mysore Road, Kumbalagodu post. Since 1987, World Health Organization had conducted an awareness of World No Tobacco Day to highlight the health risks connected with tobacco use. On the same day, Indian Dental Association is conducting a No Tobacco Day campaign to aware the masses about its disadvantages. The speaker will discuss on “Tobacco and Heart Disease” and he will highlight the risk of tobacco use and its effect on heart.
