DentalReach: Social media has become a source of information and misinformation. How can one differentiate?

Dr.Rahul: Yes it's true. I think it's best we follow genuine people, groups, and mentors via social media based on our passionate topics. There is always a bad side to everything. Even no human is perfect. It's us who decide what's best for us.

DentalReach: How important is it, according to you, to have peers and mentors with whom we can have discussions, especially in dentistry?

It's essential to have mentors. I believe a mentor is for life who can guide you whenever you need it. It shouldn't be limited to a course. Guru can help us achieve our dreams.

DentalReach: What do you think are the significant challenges faced by the dental community today?

Dr.Rahul: I think there is a lack of jobs and most jobs are hard to find. Many candidates apply for few seats so it's complicated. I still believe there is immense potential in private practice. The more you learn more you earn. Skill is everything. India has a huge population so there will always be scope. Also, focus on marketing, especially via social networks and branding. Be bold while advertising and focus on skill development. Remember there are few creators in the world and many consumers. That's why social network apps encourage creators, so be the creator and it's free. All you need is hard work and consistency.

DentalReach: What are the lessons that came hard to you in years of your dental practice till now?

Dr.Rahul: I think when I started the hardest thing I faced was doing clinical work as I was in government services before and I forgot all clinical dentistry. So I upgraded myself, especially in endodontics. As I said it's more about skill development that makes us grow, the scope is always there. Skilled people can never go out of scope and upgrade as per need.

Dr.Rahul: No, I think I am in the best job in the world. Only because of Dentistry now many people know me, I am earning well in my practice and I organize many dental events. Endohaveli is very successful now. l am forever thankful for dentistry and havelians.

DentalReach: Do you have any unfulfilled ambition that you would like to share with the world?

Dr.Rahul: My only unfulfilled wish is that I couldn't meet my mom when she passed away. It was covid time and couldn't reach it on time. I love my mom and miss her every day.

DentalReach: What do you think spurs you and keeps you going?

Dr.Rahul: It's always about helping others and making others rise. Success is everything and useful if people around you grow. If you can make patients happy or if any havelian rise because of group motivation or if they learn anything from the group the purpose of creating a group is solved.

DentalReach: Your guidance has helped in bringing a 'rubber dam' revolution in India. How did this concept of a centralized dental forum "Endohaveli" come to your mind?

Dr.Rahul: It's always about teamwork . I could see very clearly earlier that social network has immense potential and it's a great tool to connect everyone. I noticed very few doctors use rubber dams and other modern gadgets in India even though endodontics is a very common procedure. Haveli basically I relate with a common group that was made for the benefit and growth of everyone. Endodontics and social networking is my passion .I loved socializing and doing something which is productive for all.

Jindagi main kuch purpose hona chaiye jo country aur Aaraun ke kaam aaye tab jindagi ka Asli Maja aur purpose hai in my opinion .Also, I had a passion for management, especially for social network groups which is why I am doing MBA now. Haveli word idea I got from Amrish puri Ji dialogue "Kabhi aayea haveli peh ". Ab India ka group hai toh Indian flavor toh hona hi chaiye nah . JAI HIND.

Dr.Rahul: It's an excellent platform and thanks for creating it. Keep up the good work and best wishes from Endohaveli.

DentalReach: If you had to give only one piece of advice to our DentalReach audience, what that would be?

Dr.Rahul: In life always follow your passion and work hard with consistency. Remember the story of Mr. Dasrath Manjhi Ji who broke a mountain for love. Follow your love or passion and work consistently. Upgrade and develop skills. I repeat a skilled person never goes out of work. I followed my passion in 2014 after leaving my Government Job. I enjoyed this entire journey of managing a group, clinic, and events together.
