Kerala Dentist Flemingson Lazarus Secures 4th IRONMAN Title

Thiruvananthapuram, 16th June 2023

Fifty-two-year-old Kerala dentist Flemingson Lazarus has emerged victorious once again, claiming his 4th IRONMAN title in Maryland, USA earlier this week. IRONMAN, an esteemed accolade bestowed by the World Triathlon Corporation, recognizes triathletes who complete the demanding event within the designated cut-off time.

Lazarus, who previously clinched titles in Malaysia, Finland, and Egypt, now adds Maryland to his list of triumphant achievements. On June 11th, he showcased his unwavering determination as he swam 1.9 kilometers, cycled 90 kilometers, and ran 21.1 kilometers in one continuous effort to secure victory in the Maryland event.

Years of unwavering commitment and diligent preparation have paved the path to success for Lazarus, who started his journey towards excellence during his school days. Even then, his passion for fitness shone brightly, earning him numerous medals as a student. Today, he continues to pursue his passion with unparalleled dedication.

Elated with his recent accomplishment in Maryland, Lazarus now sets his sights on an even more ambitious goal – participating in and triumphing in an IRONMAN event on every continent. His unwavering determination and relentless pursuit of excellence have positioned him as an inspiration to aspiring athletes and dental professionals alike.

"I am thrilled to have tasted success in Maryland, USA, and my ultimate aim is to participate in an IRONMAN event on every continent," Lazarus joyfully expressed.
