UCSF Professors Recognized in 2024 American Association for Anatomy Awards

The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) has announced its 2024 award recipients, acknowledging exceptional contributions to the field. Two professors from the UCSF School of Dentistry have been honored.

H.W. Mossman Award in Developmental Biology Erica Hutchins, PhD, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cell and Tissue Biology at UCSF School of Dentistry, received the H.W. Mossman Award for her groundbreaking work on cell migration and craniofacial development using chicken embryos.

Henry Gray Scientific Achievement Award Ralph Marcucio, PhD, a Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, was awarded the Henry Gray Scientific Achievement Award, recognizing his contributions to anatomical sciences.
